Sir Stanley U nwin's remark, though made almost halfa century ago in the context of publishing in the United Kingdom, is a useful and pertinent counsel today, especially for Catholic publishers in a developing country like India. This comment ought at least to be considered as a warning by anyone venturing into the field of Hindi Catholic publishing, causing him tostop and reflect on the difficulties he might have to face if he hopes to remain in the publishing business for some time.
