note = {This article focuses on the place of the National Judicial Training
Institute in the administration of justice in the DRC. It focuses on
the Institute's contribution to strengthening the effectiveness of the
judiciary, taking into account its organisation, composition and
missions as provided for in the relevant legal instruments. The
article also looks at the institutions that contribute to the
fulfilment of the Institute's missions. This concerns the
collaboration between the Institute and the Ministry of Justice, which
ensures its administrative supervision, on the one hand, and the
Higher Council of the Judiciary, on the other. The Institute is
intended to be one of the appropriate solutions to remedy the ills
from which the judicial system in the DRC suffers. It organizes the
initial and continuing training of judges, registrars and secretaries
of public prosecution, future prison officers and other staff of the
Ministry of Justice and Human Rights with a view to ensuring the
proper functioning of justice by strengthening the capacity of its
human resources.},
