campaigns and moral crusades. Any understanding for the principles of
the limitation of criminal law and criminal proceedings law, such as
the principle of legality and the function of guaranteeing factual
findings, the presumption of innocence and the rights of defence of
the accused are consistently being eroded within this process. Sexual
criminal law, in particular, is currently the object of such
"remoralisation" and scandalising criminal policy. This trend is
discussed on the basis of the example of the demands for a tightening
of factual findings relating to rape.},
