cultural borders seamlessly, making Global Constitutionalism a likely
reality. Yet, there are constitutional items - odd details - which are
not amenable to this global transfer of constitutions. Analysing these
odd details counteracts the globalizing trend by drawing our attention
to local contexts and by explaining the historical, cultural, and
political reasons that exclude the transfer of certain constitutional
