Das Werk befasst sich mit der wettbewerbsrechtlichen Position der Erzeugerorganisationen auf dem europäischen Agrarmarkt. Als Beispiel wird die mögliche marktregulierende Rolle der Erzeugerorganisationen auf dem gemeinsamen Milchmarkt nach dem geplanten Auslaufen der EU-Milchquotenregelung untersucht. Zum Vergleich wird die rechtliche Lage der Schweizerischen Milcherzeuger – die schon ohne Quoten produzieren – dargestellt.
Die Autorin arbeitet seit 2010 als Lehrbeauftragte für Europarecht an der Yeditepe Universität, Istanbul (TR).
Abstract
This book clarifies the position of producer organizations on the agricultural market by analyzing the competition and agricultural law of the EU and of four of its member states, and the relevant case-law of the EU and national judiciary. The possible regulatory role of producer organizations on the milk market after the planned abolition of the EU milk quota is then compared to the legal position of the Swiss milk producers that have already been producing without a public production quota as of 2009.
