Zusammenfassung
Mit dem Data Act stand beim achten Münsteraner Kolloquium am 11. und 12. Januar 2024 ein neuer EU-Rechtsakt im Mittelpunkt, der genau am Tag der Tagung in Kraft trat. Das Gesetz stellt einen Meilenstein im Recht der europäischen Datenwirtschaft dar. Vorträge und Podiumsbeiträge aus Wissenschaft, Politik und Wirtschaft vermessen die Bedeutung dieses neuen Rechtsakts für das europäische Privatrecht und die weitere Entwicklung der Datenwirtschaft in der Union.
Abstract
With the Data Act the eighth Münster Colloquium on 11/12 January 2024 focused on a new EU legal act, which came into force on precisely this date. The act represents a milestone in the emerging law of the European data economy. Presentations and panel contributions from academia, politics and business explored the significance of this new piece of legislation for European private law and for the further development of the data economy in the Union.
