Abstract
History is full of examples where there are important stories that took place which coincided with a landmark event. There is no shortage of items worth mentioning that have been overshadowed by other aspects of history. This book is about those events with one dedicated to each day of the year that it took place. The United States doesn't have a prolonged period of history like some other countries, although for a nation that has been around for fewer years, the events are interesting, exciting, and can often bring a smile.
